Computex 2018

Because I was in that time in the Taipei and I am not Taiwanese, I was able to get free ticket to this big computer event. The event is divided into 4 different halls (3 close to Taipei 101 and one at Nangang).

The main focus was on hardware, so it was a little bit outside my base of knowledge. On the other side is good to see even this point of view to make bigger picture.

I will just point out few things which I found interesting, because I think you can get a much more information from big news companies.

ORII - ring which can be used as a phone
Digitsole - the smart insole (layer into your boots) for running, cycling and hiking
Ambi Climate - clever air conditioner control
Ezoxygen - diagnostic of your breathing
A lot of printers for receipt
A lot of machines for self-service restaurants
MOTI - smart gym and personal wearable
TG3D Scanatic - 3D scanner of your whole body
ReCactus - video with reaction to video
SOVS - app for taking right photo by stranger
Lot of computers (also graphics cards, coolers …), keyboards, PC peripherals …
